Installing Online Tools
From Ready to Launch to Highly Customized
Core FlexWise™ Toolkits All of the proven FlexWise™ tools have been designed to function as stand-alone tools. Smaller organizations may lease and install the tools with little or no customization and support the rollout internally with good success. |
Larger companies may decide to engage in significant customization and add a range of capabilities. Our tools are externally hosted and our webmaster provides all customization services. Common levels of customization include:
Basic Guidelines The guidelines are the policy-and-procedure heart of the FlexWise™ system. Once a client agrees to proceed, as part of the lease we perform the basic customization: company logo, leadership message and photo, company name in the text and substitution of the preferred term manager/supervisor or employee/associate as desired throughout the site.
Edited Guidelines We recognize that there are a variety of elements – principles, eligibility, FAQs, benefits grid – that clients may wish to customize. Depending on the quantity and depth of changes, we provide text of the site or portions of the site, review and discuss proposed changes as needed and place the final site on a unique URL. Ongoing site changes are available over the life of the lease.
Training Modules A set of interactive, online training tools
(Contact Us to view them) can be integrated into the FlexWise™ Guidelines. These can be modestly customized with company logo and name and leadership message. We do not generally offer detailed customization on the individual training modules. The available tools are: |

Introductory Training for Managers and Employees This just-in-time, interactive training tool introduces the FlexWise™ system to employees and managers. It strengthens understanding of the proposal and review process, assuring that those who have not thoroughly reviewed the guidelines can be successful in developing and making decisions about FWA proposals. |

Telecommuting, Compressed Work Week and Job Sharing Trainings These three interactive training tools offer one-stop information, guidance and best practices on how to implement sometimes challenging
FWAs. Developed and tested by many FWA users, and addressed to both managers and users, these modules offer a path to success in less than an hour each. |

Clients can lease one or more of these tools, or decide not to include them in a package. New tools are offered to clients and can be integrated as we develop them.
Single-Option Kits We also combine the key elements of our regular guidelines with the appropriate training as either a Compressed Workweek or Telecommuting Guide. Similar customization options exist for these tools. Samples of these tools can be viewed on our
TripSaver Tools site.
Monitoring Use There is a variety of ways in which we work with clients to monitor use of the FWA tools and process. We typically discuss the options in our project negotiations and refine them in the strategy phase of the work. Among the options which we support electronically as needed: |
